Default what kinda personality does tha bonneville give off?

I know there'* a lot of talk about GP owners bein' "Koky" I'm just wonder'n what kinda attitude do bonneville drivers have,

Me, um I'm just laid back I act up all tha time I love to joke around and can always get a laugh outta tha mean'est muhfu around, My niggs are tha same as bonne drivers thier laid back and don't really giva, for tha most part all tha bonne drivers I know are down to earth love to have fun and enjoys make'n fun where fun isn't. I don't know how any of U act but this is how people act round here. I've also noticed that Ooolder people that drive bonnes are coo too! we always kick knowledge back in forth about our cars and what we should do to them next, Hell you know it'* all love when U can walk up to a person a be like "let me hit a block in tha new schoo space shuttle" (00+ bonne) I enjoy my community it'* great!

oh yea, I didn't even Answer tha question! I think the "ville" gives off a touch of class but still that coo ness that everybody likes to be around.

The Bonneville forces me to be accomodating, however laid back...go with the flow is a good description.

Its also a wolf in sheeps clothing, so it has this mystique that trasfers to its owners....or we are downright crazy

Good times

Who you callin' OLD, Mista?

What'* that? Oh....yeah, I guess Will and Oldtimer are a bit up there, the Rat too. J/K

I would agree with you both on this. It is interesting how our members can be so diverse in their personal lives, yet because we all own the Bonneville, our common interest transcends most of our differences of opinions. It must be a Bonneville thing, because I don't see it as much on forums for other cars--*cough*ClubGP*Cough*.

Bonneville owners tend to be respectible to all cars and keep an open mind...or maybe thats just me.

SLEEPER! Not on the front line of things but quietly working in the background. Me, well, I would say laid back, knows what we like and likes to ride in comfort but does not sacrifice in the engine department. Just what I think!

Kokyness= insecure
There are no koky bonneville owners because an insecure person would never buy a Bonneville. They wouldnt feel right, afraid of what other peeple would think of them driving a granny car.
a true bonneville owner/ lover is a secure confident one who buys the car because its their style, they luv it and they dont care what other poeple think. I personaly bought mine for the interior comfort and options. i could care less what others thought of it.
Confident secure poeple dont have to flex there muscles, we just lay back and watch the idoits make fools of themselves while we take anudder long hot draaaaggggg.....

I can tell you one thing, there a lot of PROUD Bonnie owners around here! CUDOS!!

I'm very laid back and confident about my car. Although, many people put down the 3800 cause it'* a V6 in a big car, so I defend it, often getting in useless arguements.

5 years ago ui had that same argument in my head. I was alway a V8 man. My choice at the time was between a 96 Impala SS and the 95 SSEi. for the same price. I just fell in love with the bonnie, and now look at us. LOL My wife thinks i love it more then her.

When I hop into my Bonne I am in a differant world. Fist thing I notice is the zone of comfort I get from sitting in this car. Also when I start out down the road I also have a sence of comfort in that I know I can probobly smoke any unsespecting Ricer that trys to bother me in my sleeping beast.
I like rolling in comfort and wouldnt have it any other way. As long as I have my car I think Ill have the same personality as it does. A humble appeal and presence but a firey attitude against agressors.

I agree. I too am laidback because although I may have the biggest car on the weekends at night who drive around the rice looking for my next victim, I am confident, even without my intake and muffler yet, that I can smoke virtually anyone out there I want to. I have the ghetto golds so I love driving thru the "hood" in Syracuse and getting stares. I've ran into a couple of them there who both have green Bonnes, one with the gold wheels too. He checked my ride out and liked it better than his.

I may be laidback, but if anyone, rice especially, tries sh** with me like cutting me off, getting on my ***, etc., I enjoy teaching them a lesson or two. I think people hate the fact that my almost 2 ton Bonne when you include my weight and sometimes a passenger or two, can kick their a$$. But they will learn to respect it.

Oh yeah, and I love big and fast luxurious cars with an attitude.
