I'm mounting chrome ones on my car possibly.. I'm not sure. What do they use from the factory? Anyone got a part # and cost, or what brand / etc?

Eric, keeping them because they're uncommon or rare isn't the right way to go. Give them to someone who has a Supercharged SSE or SLE and may need them.

they are both cracked from when i tried to remove them and was doing it the wrong way.. i think they'd be better as just a keep and not let out.
i know this yard had more sse supercharged so i'm GOING to go back sooner or later.
all the cars had the rims on them. this yard just opened this saturday, so i know stuff will be there when i go there.

Use dental floss or a plastic bondo applicator to remove them. These particular badges have alot of enamel in them, and are easy to bend because the aspect ratio is extreme (width compared to height).
Use the gray 3M body and trim adhesive tape with the red backing on all badges you add to the car. This is what it'* made for. Just make sure you clean both surfaces well, and remove the wax from the car in that area first.
