its so fugly, and i dont even know what it is...how can i dress it up?

also that white meshy fabric thing right behind it covering up some metal line...what is that...and can i take that covering off...its also ugly

EGR Valve. If you paint it, use high temp stuff. For the meshy thing, it'* gone on my car so what the hell, rip it off? I don't think it does a damn thing.

the 93 was the only and last year of hte digital EGR. The 94 and up I believe had a linear EGR

Get a closer shot of the egr valve, mine might fit on there.. if not mine is the same as bill'*, so you could glue it on.. but maintance on the thing would be a bitch!

It may fit, but electronically it probably won't work well with the PCM.

hey i gots a 95 ssei mine is exactly like yours, but paintin the egr with heat paint(the light gray part) doesnt seem like too bad of an idea to me. as far as the white mesh fabrick, i think that is a insulator to keep the heat contained in the tube so it doesnt burn or melt anything around it. mine is still there, i would leave it on personally... you need an intake on that car, then she'll scream
