Default What Does SSEi stand for?

Ok, prob. a dumb question but what does SSEi stand for? I know SS on Chevy'* is for Super Sport (or super slow until they get the SCs).

Thanks

Although it is only GM jiberish, it can mean whatever you want it to.
Some guys have stated, Super Sport Edition inducted or Super Special Edition inducted or Super Sexy Edition inducted. In the older models you could order an SSE with a supercharged option but it didn't change it to an SSEi, the badge still said SSE.

When the new 2000'* first came out and I bought mine, I was in Anaheim California at a GM exhibition. There was a video display set up with all the marketing fan fare.
It stated that it meant Security, Safety, Efficiency, intelligence....and went on to list all the special features relating to each of those words that the SSEi has over its competition. I was impressed.

The never ending question, well one of them any way.
GM claims it'* nothing, but it is more fun for the driver if it has a meaning.

It has to mean SOMETHING as meaningless as it may be some engineer HAD to have thought "Hmm...Should Stop Eating I-hop" or sooomething. It might be something off the wall or lude so GM isnt' going to come out and say "Yeah the Some ******** Engineered It, new for 2003!" or maybe simple as a combination of the engineers initials and some guy named Irwin thought "Hey lets put a supercharger on it". Hehe
