Default What city or state is the letter H ?

I have the letter H in my vin number and can not find out what State it stands for. I have asked GM of Canada these questions, about two weeks ago, but have not had any reply. So I thought may be the club can help.

Question:
Does does anyone know what the letter H stands for, and also how many 1997 SSEi came with the supercharger?

Thanks for any help
Gord G.

Here is some compiled production numbers but doesn't answer your specific question regarding the number of SC equipped cars. I don't think there would be an easy way to find that info out.

If you are referring to the 11th character in your VIN being an "H" than that indicates the Flint, MI plant.

Wouldn't ALL the SSEi'* have been supercharged? Or was that not the question?

This is true but there were some SSE and other trim levels equipped with superchargers.

EDIT: Whoops... I scanned it... TWICE. Yes, all SSEi models were equipped with a supercharger.

Don't mind me, it'* early.

Yes you are right about all SSEi being supercharged. I guess the question should be how many Bonnneville cars were supercharged in 1997?
