what bonnie model/year had a badge behind the rear door window?(92-99)

97 40th maybe?

I saw one drive past the shop the other day...I had to blink because I thought it was an impala for a second...

Correct. Only some limited numbers in 97 carried them. Techinfo Specifications, Bonneville production numbers will tell you how many.

i think it must've been a 92...i saw it again and the tail lights don't go all the way across...
