They started making the Delco 2K radios in 1995 not in 1996 (orange display)--I have one in my car. The Bose was available in 1997. (per ssesc93)

Yup, don't forget the carpet isn't there, if you don't believe me, look up on top. Now if i could have a cupholder with decent bottom, AND carpet, with no screws, i'd be happy.

The switch panels seem to bulge out more on newer models. I noticed that in stinky'* car last week.

Ladies and Gentlemen, from the source:
The only thing different is the bumper and headlights - we had a parts car
and replaced the front sheet metal and bumper from a '93.

I know there are a couple of differences they did not mention.

That was 1994 for the Bonnevilles.... 1993 was the last year for the Flourescent(spelling) blue display... In 1994 GM started making the newer style I think it was used in the Bonnevilles and the Firebirds first, then the Grans prix, Grand Am, and Transport/Montanna...
I did mention 94 as well. I just didn't remeber exactly. The first onces had the red outlining on the top and the botton of the lettering until 96 if you emembered that. Yes the carpeting and the screws where on the 92-95 but I didn't htink I had to deeply get into detail with that.

i lookked at the car, read the descipt, the price and saw pics. Its a good mix but its still a 98. The best way to really settle it is to just get the VIN, and that is if thats the corrct one. RPO'* as well.

You can do that. You can actually change your grill. Its universal. I just never say it that way. Its like the grill will be sticking out if a 96-99 grille was put on a 92-95 because of the more rounded bumpers for the 96-99.

He updated his listing to explain the "different" front end. This is what he added to the listing:
I should note that the front bumper and headlights are off of a '93 as the front sheet metal/bumper/etc. had to be replaced. I guess this has bothered some people but I don't see how it should affect the value of this car. It was repaired professionally and you won't find another car this clean and in this good of condition inside and out for this price. So I'm sorry if this has offended anybody but now it is noted. If you have any further questions please contact us.
