Default Well the time came......56K....It'* only 5 pics you'll live.

To send the SLE down the road, the costly transmission repairs that were needed we just to great in cost, plus lately I have been seriously running out of use for a car, and a truck had been seeming more and more practical for me everyday. The transmission started jumping gears alot at any point in time.....and totally hosing up the motor and how it ran sometimes too.

So I decided, instead of spending $1500 more than the $1100 it was already gonna cost me to get the 4th/OD issue fixed, that I may as well just trade the car in, so that'* what I did. Don't worry guys, I de mod'd it for my next Bonneville....No worries. Though I hated to see that car go, I'm 90% positive that the new owner will end up here....Seeing how one of the guys at the Dealership I traded it into LOVED the car and was prolly gonna end up buying it....Plus I stashed a **** ton of cards in the car in places that I'm pretty sure no one'* gonna find them while reconditioning the car......

But anyways, here'* my new ride:
(Pics prolly suck but it'* dark when I leave for work and dark when I get home...so I'm screwed.)

2003 Dodge Ram 2500 Heavy Duty Laramie w/ the Cummins Turbo Diesel:

My first two mod'* to this rig was removing the Turbo Silencer ring, and the baffles in the Intake Tube, so now my Turbo is pretty loud.....Like a 747 Taxing around.....Ya that seems about right. Truck came with a triple gauge pillar pod, trans temp gauge and exhaust gas temp gauge in it, I just need to get a boost gauge in the extra spot in the pillar pod .

I'll still be on here lurking, and attending meets whenever I can....So don't worry, I'll still be around. Now that I think about it, I think that the MN crew is due for a meet here.....we should start something up a bit, though Marty'* already started trying to get people together for a Dyno day in the cities, which I would like to do to get a baseline of hp/tq numbers before modding

So ya I've been busy doing this stuff and working lately that there hasn't bee much time to post...House everyone else doing?

Hey Dick I got used to my laptop, and trying to type while tired as hell on a microsoft Natural I haven't touched in two weeks lol....

I wouldn't have purchased a Dodge without the Cummins, plain and simple.

Got 1,500 for the SLE, picked the truck up for $15,500.....plus tax, title, license bullshit.....Hey if you're around on the 29th Andrew, chances are I MIGHT be in Worthington for a lil bit and then maybe I'll party with ya later that night and crash at your place...if you have no objections to that?

New jobs paying alright...picked up a good bit of O/T lately....plus when you have no car payments, you have room for one.....jesus that'* pretty sick on how that works ain't it? lol.

Hey how did the lowering springs feel? Did you have any problems with approach and departure? General driving? etc? I'm looking into lowering springs..
