It only took an hour or so. Just carefully ran a thin plastic piece around the entire outside to break the seal. Once the seal was was broken, the moonroof operated. Then I could get at the rubber and roof channel with some goo off. It'* amazing what a tiny amount of RTV completely stymied the unit.
