I wouldn't go through the insurance company. Pick up a good one from the scrap yard for about $20 and install it yourself. Save the deductible money.

thats the one problem my brother had. The ONLY and i mean ONLY night he left it on, his car got broken into. Only this unit you could flip it around and make it look like it wasn't on there. He always would take te faceplate out of the car too so that the theives woun't get far with the radio. They broke the little window, which happens to be the most expensive radio on regals so that sucked as well. The alarm didn't go off and we leared it is pretty much just a panic remote horn...

I only pay 55 dollars a month for my insurance, and no, i leave my face plate on. I guess i'm going to have to start taking it off even at home.
