well every tuesday and wednesday night i take a 60 minute drive, there and back. So i have AMPLE opportunity to mess around with my car because there is noone on the road except for about 5 other people. I also always get at least one person every trip who wants to mess around at a light.

Tonight i took a Camaro and i will talk about that in the kill section.

Also tonight i gunned it a bit. It affirmed what you said, it goes to 4700RPM and then right then it cuts down. I also found out the Bonne has 5 gears, WOOT! I got up to 108 and I could still feel the engine pulling for more speed, i had to back it off because i was coming up on more urbanized areas.

Common Misconception... I"ve done it when I first got into cars too.. 4 gears with overdrive ( Solenoid lock of the torque conveter ).. hee hee.. but yes.. it'* amazing how fast you'll go on WOT and all of a sudden just when you think you're toppin up... WAM.. the solenoid locks in and it feels like you have another gear to keep going faster..

Powertrain control module. Computer. Brain. Factory limited to the speed rating of the tires the car shipped with. H rated tires at 130. GM'* way of not having to accept liability for a stupid Bonneville nut having a tire blow at high speed. Lucky for us, we haven't blown a tire over 130 yet!
