So now I believe that Bill told me to ask jr3800 about coolant. I'm going to need to get the coolant flushed soon and need to know what to buy. Apparently I have a pretty corrosive/sludge building coolant in the system right now, and Bill had told me about another type but I'm not sure how to go about doing that. I lost a ton of coolant with the bad elbow so right now I think Bill had filled what I lost with water. What should I do? I know nothing about coolant.

For the very moment you are ok... But you will want to have the system flushed shortly.... Get the Prestone Extended Life, Dex Cool compatible( Dex Cool Approved ).. It will be orange... I have used it for the last 5 years or so in diffrent cars and have had good results with it... I am pleased with it and would reccomend it.. I have it in my 95 SE as well..

I am interested in how you detailed the engine, Probably my second most favorite part of the car, besides the drivers seat
