Default We Love Our Bonnie More Every Time We Drive It !!!

Hey to my fellow GXP owners! I hadn't been to the site for awhile and just came to check out what was going on in here and had to proclaim our Love for our Bonneville GXP. I have logged about 3,000 miles since picking her up new on May 24th and that big 'ol smile on my face pops up every time I lay eyes on her. It is such a sweet ride in every way and we have affectionately named her Bonnie.

Fortunately, I have not experienced any of the somewhat common issues with the fog lights (and I use them at all times as I like the look with them on), steering input shaft and the likes. Let me knock on wood!

And she sure does like to stretch out and run and handles remarkably well! An added plus is that it is readily accepted by my fellow Trans Am Club of Houston members.

Well, hope ya'll are enjoying yours...

Hey Shadow - I thought your GXP was "totalled" in an accident? Anyway, those #'* might be a tick over that at this point - but I have a few more things on my Christmas wish list before I get to the good stuff! Once it is wrapped up I will be sure to dyno it and see where I end up. Take it easy...

Nope I traded it on a BMW 745i. Worlds better acceleration but not as aggressive looking as my old GXP. You have the best of both worlds with 2 great pontiac cars.

Well welcome back... I would still like to know what you have done to increase your HP to 295HP, AND what measurement you used to boast your Torque to be at 315... >Turbonater?? .Shadow already asked this question and you dodged it. Some of us including Admins here dont accept idle claims on HP or E.T.'*. I could post my HP at 450Hp with my Max ZEX jets in and using the formula of stock torque vs stock HP, could rate my Torque at close to 500. I am also positive I can blow the doors of almost any Bonnie shy of Rogue'* BUT unless you list your actual mods, dyno them And post E.T. slips......It'* all BS. So I wait...... untill I can get dyno results and a time slip to present real and provable power and results.
