I prefer a product that leaves no seams, but is still sem-permanent. I use 3M body and trim sealant, which was made specifically for this purpose.

The GB sealant is a cost effective alternative to the roll of 3M sealant. Most importantly is that it adheres to metal, plastic, rubber, painted surfaces and wood. Perfect for tackling the common leaks found in the H-Body cars.
