Default Wanted: Window tint pics

I am trying to decide whether to go with 35% or 50% window tint.
I am wondering if anyone on BC has a pic of either percentage that they could post or PM to me to help me visualize each look.

Thanks!

I just got my windows tinted, but dont have a pic. But I'll give you some input. In my opinion there is no point in tinting them if you go 50%. It'* to light. Go the 35%

honestly? IMO
50% is not worth doing at all.. it barely makes a difference...
i would do 35 MINIMUM unless you arent looking from an appearance standpoint, and purely functional

Thanks for the replies!

I want to make it look better of course!

I also want to help reduce the heat inside.

I cannot go to dark as the police here do not like extremely dark side windows, particularly in the front.

The shade of the tint has no effect on heat whatsoever. This is a common misconception. The UV/IR radiation blocking potential is in the film itself. Clear is just as capable as shaded.

Shading only blocks visible light, which has no ability to heat your car'* interior.

http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...ight=onyx+tint

35% Onyx film on the windows, 55% on the sunroof. Heat wise, I've got a black car...I know about heat. The difference in temps while the car sits in a sunny parking lot at work are extremely noticable.

Keep in mind what was said by many, the QUALITY of a film outweights the darkness and the UV protection has nothing to do with the darkness.

I have always been against tint because it'* negative effect on night/bad weather vision. My experience with the Onyx film is contrary to that... vision is the same as before, the tint has not effected it at all.

Qualty is the key.

When I had my windows tinted, I was thinking 35% all the way around, but I decided to go 20% and im glad I did. Also the tint looks darker with dark interior, so keep that in mind. Because I have the tan, it didnt appear as dark, but yeah its still dark
