Bonnevilles are pretty easy to keep around for 250-300k miles. No special attention required. No secret tricks. A normal maintenance schedule. Drive On.

Change your fluids and filters as needed. Keep things clean and address any problems right away. That'* about it.

Note: Danthurs car is NOT a poster child for making your Bonne run forever.

One of my suggestions to keep it running forever would be to change out the lower intake gaskets with GM dealership aluminum ones. While the upper intake is off, plug the coolant port holes in it with something like JB Weld.

This addresses the two biggest motor killing issues. Now the lower intake gaskets can't collapse in and cause leaks and the upper intake can crack int eh EGR area and will never fill the motor with coolant.
