undercoating to hold down road nosie ?
I was thinking of getting my Bonnie undercoated like either Zebart or do it myself with spray cans, would it help quiet down the road and tire noise ? Any draw backs to doing it ?

DO NOT GET UNDERCOATING UNLESS YOU STRIP AND ACID BATH THE BODY, or your car is new and the under-body paint is still perfect!!!
Anything less will trap moisture under the coating in nooks and crannies, and will cause your car to develop deep rust in welds, creases, and bolt-holes.

this car came from Virginia and is rust free underneath, thats another reason I was going to do it but mostly for the road noise. Also i only keep them about 4 yrs and 250k miles. My buddy oils the bottom of his with Fluid Film and they stay rust free for years. His are 1994 mini vans with 200k on them and you can break loose a brake line with a cresent wrench. I mainly want the sound deading

I have to get me some of this peel and seal. Is this also available at Home Depot? I don't care about road noise, I just want to stop the minor rattling from the thump in my trunk.
Ditto on the undercoating causing problems. If it is completely rust free I guess I'd do it, but I'd make sure before I spent the money on it. But if it'* rust free after all these years I wouldn't see the need to do it now.
If the only reason was to decrease road noise; I think other things would reduce road noise more effectively.
