Good news guys... this project is almost done
-tubes mounted (done)
-wires spliced and wired properly (done)
-wires attached to ground and switch (done)
-switch mounted (going to be done as soon as I get a 3/4 in. drill bit)
I was driving around with the lights on tonight and I do have to say that they look awesome. Thanks for the help guys!
The red gauges and red neon look very good together... my only problem is that it is hard to see outside the sideview mirror because the red light glares off of the windows... oh well it looks great anyways!

Pics will be up tomorrow. The drivers side one is totaly awesome and it fits like a glove... the passanger side one is a little more 'ghetto' it didn't quite fit under the dash... so put it more or less on the carpeting close to where the floorboards meet the dash. But it is still out of sight, and the switch looks stock. I already got a bunch of compliments on it, about how good it looks, so I feel great about it.

It was a lot easier than I originally thought it would be and turned out better than I could have even dreamed... I highly reccomend using cheep wal-mart tubes as of now street-glo seems to be a rip off. My friend said that mine looks better than his cousin who paid over $150 to have his professionally done. All in all here is about how much it cost(give or take a dollar or two):small tube - $8.00
larger tube - $12.00
switch - $2.50
Grand total of... $22.50
Please beleive in walmart. I have 3 light ropes, and 3 neon tubes form walmart. I recommend Walmart stuff to everyone because it is a hell of alot cheaper than street glow or light glow. About the neon I said i couldn't get to work. Well I got it to work on now it is installed in my front bumper and it lights up my grill and the space between the fog lights. Its tight. I am doing an all blue color scheme on my car, but I think the purple will look ok with my blue. If I like it enough I might do a blue and purple color scheme. I will have updated pictures of my mods on car domain in the next few days. And tonight or tomorrow I will be putting one of those blue lightning bars under my dash. Ill get pics of it to.
