Default Typical 2000 SSEi?

My mom is trading in the 1995 Bonneville tomorrow to buy a 2000 SSEi with 30,000 miles on it for $16,000. It is fully loaded, even has the sun roof and heated seats. anyway, just have a few "wierd" questions. Is it typical for the Speedometer on an SSEi to go up to 220 Miles an hour? that seems really high.. also, the boost gauge only shows -1, 0 and +1 on the gauge. it was something like KPS next to the gauge, not PSI.

kPa...kilopascals...metric unit of pressure...called "KIPS"

1 kPa = .145 psi.....

ahh, it appears that they might be reporting in metric. All of them seem to except for the Speedometer (which reads Miles Per Hour.)

The nice thing about it is you can switch using the E/M button on the DIC from 0-220 kph to 0-220 mph

The boost gauge if in kPa like my Canadian version reads -70 to +70 KPa or converted -10 to +10 psi.

Well ACTUALLY...you'll have 220 kph or 137 (136.7) mph....
as for boost...1 kPa=.145psi therefore...70*.145=10.15psi....

MATH CLASS IS DISMISSED...........

i have a 2000 ssei you should have a E/M but as far as your boast gauge mine doesn't change it is only in psi and goes from -10 to +10 mine i got mine with 26xxx and it was $22,000 so you might have gotten a deal because its a canada car. just my guess.
