Default tune-up questions

i have been reading about doing a "tune-up" before any other mods... i already replaced my O2 sensor because it was acting up, but will i really benefit from plugs and wires? why should i assume that anything is wrong with them? they have the correct gap and don't look very bad, although i'm not an expert on the subject.

Moved to general chat, as tune ups aren't performance enhancing/horsepower adders.

Also its a good idea to just replace them if u don't know how long or how many miles they have.

Down with Bosch!

another question would be what brand plugs and wires are on there?

and as previously stated, DOWN WITH BOSCH. if you have bosch platinums in there, take em out asap.

although there supers (resister) versions arent that bad, better than champs, if that says anything.

also 2 i want 2 add n do u c any cracks or feel any brittleness n the wires. that could b a deff. sign 4 change. but it is worth changing them because u'll get a bump up n gas mileage and it'll run alot smoother if it isnt already.
