its a cable that goes all the way to the brake.. im not replacing the whole thing..

it connects to the piece right behind it in the pic...

hook it back on the tab and put a Zip tie on it to keep it from sliding off....

you know what i mean?

You could probably repair/rebuild that tab with some JB Weld. Force bacto shape as well as you can, Gob JB Weld all aver it, and then sand it down close to it'* original size.

except i would be doing all this work with a tweezers as i could barely get the camera down there, and the cable is not coming out

The Zip tie idea might be the best for now. Or, when you get a chance, take the console apart.

Ya i know how tight these consoles are, i dug over $100 worth of change out of one, and getting the last few coins out was a bitch

Smash the rest off that plastic off cable, and slide on an electrical terminal with set screw. One that has a hole big enuff to fit over that round pin(or drill it out) and keep it there with a c clip.




tie would work for awhile

EPOXY (and a tie) put a friends Yugo wiper assembly back together with epoxy and it held till it went to junkyard.

Ignore if it locks in park

sucks Harofreak....bet it would be a bitch to replace whole dam thing

OK, after reading GXP'* idea, forcing me to go back and look at the pics again... Yeah, my idea won't work nearly as easily as I thought it would when I came up with it.

Looks like our GXP buddy may be on a better track....
