Trunk lid carpeting: different for different years?
I bought a trunk lid carpet from another member, figuring I'd put it in my 97SE. I have no idea what year the carpet was from, but it'* obviously from between 92 and 99. The mounting holes are not spaced correctly to fit my 97SE. It has the correct number of holes in *roughly* the correct places. At first glance, if you just look at the carpet and look at the mounting holes in the trunk lid, it looks like they line up. But when you try to install it, they are off by an inch or two here and there. I'm guessing the carpet I have is probably older, maybe 92-95, and that there was probably a change in the location of the holes for maybe 96-99 or something like that.
Does anybody have the definitive answer on what years have different mounting patterns for the mounting holes?
Sure, I suppose I could punch new holes in the carpet I bought, but I'd rather just have the right carpet to start with. Any info appreciated.

I've got one of each at my place now. They are extremely close. Corvette nailed it..close...and basically it'* the mounting holes only. The structure on the 96-99 lids are a little different.
