I went to most auto parts stores in Red Deer today, looking for plugs that are one heat range colder than stock...
The Dealers didnt have even a part number for one heat range colder from OEM.
I couldnt find anyone with the NGK'* one range colder either...no one has the part numbers..
help?

Look at ZZP'* site for plugs and their numbers. Lots of places have Autolite'*. But I like my NGK TR55 plugs. They should be able to find them by TR55. Autolites will be a 103 or something in that range.

I am running NGK V power T55s :? Always have, even in that old SSEi of mine..
I thought the TR65 would of been one heat range colder...beacause the TR55 is the EXACT cross ref in the Delco book, 46-401 Delco plug, stock heat range.

It is
5-6 is heat range, last digit usually pertains to gap, or so it says in the NGK application book

TR6 is TWO heatranges colder.
TR55 is ONE heatrange colder, but directly crosses because NGK doesn't have an OEM heatrange replacment.

I see the light now Bill.
I wonder If I should try for the TR6 then.
It needs something
