Default Transmission Question

Does any of the 2000- 2005 bonnevilles have the 4t60e transmission? Before I buy a Bonneville SE or SLE I want make sure I dont end up with that POS tranny.

Thanks!

No it has the 4T65 E

The 4T60 E trans is not a Pos. But you are entitled to your opinion.

1992-1997 for the 4T60-E

1997-2004 for the 4T65-E

EDIT:
2004 is the farthest my chart goes.

News for you......The 4T60'* actually hold up longer in the Bonnevilles than the 65. Even in the 96 Series 2 L67.

They're very GOOD transmissions. Sorry you had to have the lemon.

Are there any identification marks on our trannies (mine is a 1996) that would tell which one we have???? And are the 60 and 65 interchangable?
