Default transmission fluid

i have 60,3xx miles on my SE and was thinking about changing the fluid because i know that our transmissions are notoriously weak. theres a bit of buckling when downshifting sometimes. im interested in what everyone uses. is it too late for fully synthetic trans fluid? (does it even exist?)

Stay very far away from synth. It'* caused too many problems for people. It'* TOO slick and can cause slipping unless the trans is designed for it.

Just use any name brand. Havoline, Valvoline, etc.

I used valvoline Durablend in the tranny of my Formula just for good measure. If I keep th Bonny long enough I will put it in there too. No NEED for blend or full synthetic though.
