Either way, traction control can slow you down. But as for tire spin, I've heard a million stories, "Yes its good" "No its bad".

I just do what Drifter does, "ease the throttle in a linear motion untill WOT."

I should have clarified. bboonneevviillee or mark_m, whoever you choose to listen to, has an L27, and therefore Series1. The PCM in a Series1 doesn't know the Traction even exists.
OK, just making sure, I just didn't want people to start thinking it doesn't pull timing.
