Traction control question
Is there still some form of traction control when the button is turned off? I noticed driving in the snow today that if it starts slipping and revs up real high, it revs up and down and up and down. It'* not a gear change because it only does it when going very slow, and it never goes past 4 and a half grand. Also, if I leave the gear selector in first it doesn't do it. It'* like a rev limiter that bumps the RPMs down to 2 grand.

uhh. maybe it'* just your tires gripping and spinning again?
actually, i have noticed that TC doesn't actually turn off until you let off the throttle completely and get back on it again. sometimes right after it is turned off it will still make a noise when i get the tires spinning, even though it seems to be dis-engaged.

Not gripping, these tires don't grip worth a crap lol. And it was on str8 up ice. And it wasn't an abrupt drop in RPMs, more like a take the foot off the throttle drop lol. And.... it was uniform lol.
My TC is a piece of junk... it shudders and all that junk. I'm trying to figure out a way to make it wear quicker so the warranty company will just replace the dumb thing... but I don't want to wear the trans faster because it'* awesome.

I forgot to mention another thing that'* really annoying that I've mentioned before. If the tires start slipping, even if I put gear shift directly in first, it still likes to jump 1-2-1-2-1-2. Makes me cringe when it does that . Wish there was something to fix that... makes me feel like I'm blowing clutches up or something.
Incase you haven't noticed... we have pretty much straight up ice for roads right now lol.
