My friend was messing around with photo shop and morphed a G8 hood onto a Bonneville GXP.

Me likey. It adds just the right amount of flare to be a sports car but doesn't scream high powered (aka Dan'* hood)

I concur. Can someone check the dimensions on that? It'd be a nice surprise if it could fit onto a Bonneville easily.

The concept is nice but the lines are too sharp. Compare the lines on that hood to the lines on the head lights and grilles. It just doesn't match. It looks good if all you're looking at is the hood, but step back for a second and you'll see that it doesn't match the car at all. If they were perhaps bigger and rounder, it might work out.

The G8 on the other hand has much sharper and more defined body lines than the GXP, so it works for it.

Good Observation X. I looked at the pic and it just didn't seem quite right. You hit the nail on the head.

I'm not going to be running to the salvage yard for G8 hood scoops anytime soon, I just thought it was "interesting" enough to let others see.

Thats funny this was posted. The wife and I passed a G8 on the way to work. and she said that it looked like a bulkier version of your car. I replied I wish that hood was available for my car

Same here. It looks good, but off just a little for some reason, and that was it.

I would like to clear up what I meant in my post. I thought the OP meant just the scoops not the entire hood so the hard lines up the side wouldn't be included.
