The Toyos look sexy! They rotated them to the front, and it feels like a little stiffer ride in the city. I'm looking forward to taking them up the mountain this weekend, and seeing what they can do.

they seem ok on reviews but personally i will never buy a bfgoodrich tire for a sedan ever again, too many problems and traction issues. the only bf goodrich i like is the all terrain for 4x4'*

i say stick with goodyear, havent had a problem with them yet and get good traction too.

hmmm on a side note, if u can find them and thats a big if, my bonneville had Avon CR448 tires on it and i loved them. i havent seen them in stores tho so i think they might be discontinued.

Michelle, you might want to drop your tire pressure a few (2-5 pounds) for the trip up to Mt. Hood! Did you get 'em siped? That'll help on the snow and ice.

Um... do I have to ask to get them siped? The brochure on the counter said the Proxes TPT came siped. I tried out the display there, and it does make a huge difference, you're right.

Molded siping is on ALL tires. CUT siping is what you want added for traction like on that display on the front counter (dragging the weights with siped and usniped rubber on a wet surface?).

It'll cost a couple bucks more now that you've driven it, since they have to pick the rocks out of the tread so they don't dull their siper blade.

I have a set of Michelin Harmony tires, they are excellent in show and rain and can take tight curves very easily. Highly reccomend for the SE.

I've heard good things about those too, I almost went with them myself but I heard mixed feed back for snow traction.
