These are the highest rated tires on tire rack and the ones I'm going to get for my 93(225/60ZR16), but they only go up too 225/45ZR17'*

Perhaps they have improved the RSAs. They came on my car too, had plenty of tread and absolutely sucked in the snow. The first thing I did to the car was get rid of them. I get my tires at a tire wholesale whose major brand is Goodyear. When I asked him about the RSAs his response was "they're an expensive tire", and left it at that. At his recommendation, I'm running an off-brand tire that is a vast improvement over the RSAs

I was caught in the same winter storm. My outcome was not as good as my stock RSA'* with too many miles (and burnouts) on them ALMOST let me down coming down an offramp (2 hours into a 20 min commute). I'm glad my car isn't white.

Based largely in part on your comments I have ordered a set of these tires from tirerack.

PIRELLI P-ZERO NERO!!!!! If you want a tire that costs less than the RSAs(about $80 less) and performes 10 times better then that is the tire for you. ALSO they are extremely quiet, You will be amazed at the difference in road noise.

Have BFG Traction T/A'* and love them, the best stopping All season tire i've used. My mom had them on her '01 camry, and were very loud, but in Bonne sizes are dead silent as well, she has Goodyear Triple Treads, and they seem to work good for her too. I think the G/Y have a better pattern for ice, and heavier water, but the T/As are the best for overall grip, and stopping.

Any mentioned tires here will be good, they're one of the major aspects of your most important safety systems (braking) and overlooked.

Gotta love Tirerack'* service and the fact that they are 1 day shipping to Columbus, OH

I originally bought these for my car, however the Wife'* 00 SSEi has some really bad tires after looking at them doing an oil change today so I'm going to stick them on her car and get myself another set.
