Tires for 2005 GXP
My 2005 GXP needs new tires at 50K miles.
Replacement Goodyear Eagle RS-A, P235/50R18 may cost $300/each !
Can anyone suggest a suitable, more economical alternative?
I'm an ordinary Maryland street /highway driver;
looking for good traction on wet/icy roads, yet quiet.
I'd appreciate your comments.
Regards,
Charlie

For the money, the BF Goodrich G-force T/A KDWS is a buy hard to beat. Excellent on water, good in snow, wear is similar to our stock tires (not a good thing) but for the price they cant be beat. I got mine at tirerack.com where they are on sale for $84 a piece. They shipped them UPS and were at my door in 3 days. Great looking deep tread with monster rain grooves.
Here they are halway down the page.

Hello GXP Venom,
Thanks for the info about the BF Goodrich G-force T/A KDWS.
They look like fine tires.
I just bought a set from tirerack.com as you suggested.
When I get them, have them installed, and some highway driving, I'll give you some feedback.
Regards,
Charlie
