Default tire talk
ok, time to start talking tires... the ones that came on my care have plenty of tred depth, and judging from the traction they provide will continue to have such for years to come...

my grandmothers car ('95 Acura Legend) has Michlin MXV4+'* on it and they are great tires if a bit expensive... ($125 a tire)

anyone have any other suggestions? any pricerange is good, i just want something with great grip, and somewhere around a 40,000 mile warrenty. let me know of anything related to ride and road noise.

Michelin Pilot XGTZ4'* on the back (Speed rating Z), Michelin Energy MXV4+ on the front (Speed rating V).


Both great tires. The Energys are a little more quiet. Both stick to the road well.

what did you pay for the MXV4+'*? which one holds better??? i only need an H rated tire

They weren't cheap - I got them at NTB. I think they were in the vicinity of $130 apiece.

Goodyear Eagle HP. H rated, nifty directional tread. I have these and love 'em, give good grip.

i just got Uniroyal Tiger Paws Wide track, 115 each got 4 of em, SWEET TIRES!. 95,000 km warrenty.....60,000 miles.........anyways it had Blizac winter tires on it, there in the shed now waiting for the snow
