Default Tire Question

I'm getting ready to purchase some tires for my 93 SSEi and I have a couple of questions. Has anyone heard of Visa Tires before? I read somewhere that they are made by Falken Tires. Also my other possibility is a Nitto Tire. I'm on a budget right now and these are all I can afford. I want a decent tire that will have a good wear pattern and still give me decent performance. Tires considered so far include:

Visa VS-602
Nitto NT 460 Premium Touring
Falken Ziex ZE-512

I've heard feedback from a few GP owners with Falken Ziex ZE-512s and they like them. Another tire you might want to consider if you're on a budget is the Fuzion ZR1, it'* made by Bridgestone. Seems like a good tire but does not come with a warranty so the price is much lower.

Check 'em out;

I've heard great things about NITTO, but I don't really know much about them myself. Kelly Springfield is a great tire, for people on a budget.

egladman, just make sure you shop around and look at local sale ads. Many tire places have great "low price guarantees" too, and will beat other stores' sale ads. Also (you might already be doing this) look at online vendors for the best price, and don't discount eBay. Many people buy non-refundable items (like tires) and then need to sell cheap after minor use. Good luck!

Just remember you get what you pay for.

I have been thru a few sets on both Bonnies, so far the Dunlop tires sucked the most and the Michelin'* are awesome on my 97 SSEi. I will only buy Michelins now, they cost me about $120 each from Sams Club.

Definitely ... I didn't mean buy the absolute cheapest *quality* tires (which of course would probably be the cheapest *price* as well). But, I know from experience that businesses offer all kinds of incentives to get your purchase... but it takes a little effort to make it all happen in most cases (i.e. if you don't ask, they won't tell)!

If they want my money, they've gotta work for it!
