When I did my wifes car they were about $30. I just checked and the TRW'* still are the same price $28.88 and are greaseable but I see they have a $16.46 one that isn't greaseable; I bet someone switched them if it really is a sealed one.

as far as i new to the tie-rods are sealed? its news to me if they arent

also if you go to the dealer and buy on it wont be sealed ethier

my 94sse 95 lesabre,94 old 88 were all sealed from the factory

They are absolutely NOT better. They dry up and then fail with no easy way to grease them. Grease-able ones can be greased and as such, will last longer as long as they are maintained/greased. Sealed ones can't be self greasing as there'* no way for them to get more grease...

BoneZ, that is my thought exactly.

I'm not too worried as it'* a TRW and should last for as long as I decide to own the car. I did not want to go with the "TreadSaver" brand because I trust TRW much more.
