Default though out the years of bonneville

how many trims and names did the bonneville has had?

I'm sure some of these may be wrong but here'* what I've came up with please correct me if I'm wrong

Grandville?
Star Chief? (thinking that was a totally different car but......)
Parisienne (trim level?)
Catalina (trim level?)
Bonneville (served as lowest trim level also)
brougham (trim level)
LE
SE
SLE
SSE
SSEi
GXP
*SE Supercharged*
*SSE Supercharged*
*SLE Supercharged*

*can these be considered official trim levels too?*

I'm not asking what the names mean (be a billionare if I saved a penny for every time that topic came up) just wanting to know a little more history of the names/car

I don't think the Bonneville was ever the lowest trim level, wasn't it always right up on top?

na, I believe bonnevilles (92-) were the ones with close to no options what so ever, I believe the were mostly used as very cheap rentals/taxi cabs and people just wanting the car with no extras at all,

however, I do believe "Bonneville" was the top model as compaired to the Parisienne which was the cheaper version, I'm not sure about the catalina though,

Yeah, the SE. Look at the SLE, SSE, and SSEi. 92 SSEis had more goodies on them than my mom'* 01 300M has.

Bonneville
Catalina
Star Chief
In descending order, these were cars from the 60'*. Bonneville since its inception has always been the Flagship of Pontiac. Sometime in the mid to late 70'* there was a Bonneville Brougham Parisienne (bling bling version) which was fitted with lots of chrome & rear fender skirts. The evolution of the Bonneville has been fascinating at best. With the 92 came the new class & trim levels SE, SSEi'*.
