Keep bitching.....I have a 34 gallon tank on my truck that's damn near dry. Somehow I managed to make it damn near 3 weeks between fill ups lol

captainmiller 03-25-2005 01:20 AM

I usually put 60 litres (16 gallons) in on tank-ups and it costs me $50 CAD. So thats $3.13 CAD which is $2.58 USD. And thats the lowest octane as well.

So...$2.58/gallon @ 87 (I think thats the lowest octane commonly found at gas stations?)

Iceman 03-25-2005 07:58 AM

I think I beat all of you for being raped at the pumps...

99.6 cents a litre, 34 litres (half tank) = 33.86

converted to American dollars is 27.86
double that for a full tank 55.72
divde that by 18 gallons

3.09 a gallon, now that's BS

I feel sorry for the Europeans though, they pay double that easy

Red Rocket 03-25-2005 09:15 AM

I'd love premium at $1.99/gallon. We're at $2.30/gallon here so quit your whining! :D

Ms. Sixty 03-25-2005 10:19 AM

I think its like $2.15 a gallon here.....$37 doesnt even make me flinch anymore...it's normal...

Twister97 03-25-2005 11:27 AM

I dont know, I need gas so nothing to bitch about.

captainmiller 03-25-2005 12:35 PM

Where in Canada are you from Iceman? I thought 83-87 cents a litre was rediculous...

Owen Sound ON, about an hour and a half north west of Toronto...

Regular was 88 when I bought my gas, and premium was 99.6
Atleast I'm starting to pull better than 13 MPG...lol

I'll get to test the mileage on the highway really soon,
I'm heading to T.O. Tuesday to see the Eagles :D

sux down here too. $2.059 a gallon for cheap stuff. $25.08 to fill the tempo up this morning. makes it impossible to round wnen the stupid pump can only move in 2 cent increments.

Princess Jeanie 03-25-2005 11:24 PM

Gas prices are making me appreciate the four banger and the itty bitty gas tank on the GA. Granted, I have to fill up every week (I don't let it go under half a tank-too cold still) I never spend more then 15-16 bucks.

Kennginn 03-25-2005 11:31 PM

i just filled up wiith 2.55 a gallon

SSE14U24ME 03-25-2005 11:32 PM

gas here is between $2.04 to $2.11 for regular. I go through about a tank a week. I don't think we will ever see prices below $2 per gallon. I remember 4 years ago gas here was 92 cents per gallon..... the good ole days.

lglarum 03-30-2005 09:51 AM

$2.09 for 89 here, $31.50 for 15.007 gal.

I once put 16.5 gal in my '90 LE, which I believe has a 16 or 16.5 gal tank.

Yep, 50 bux for me to fill my tank up from E

Its 2.42 for 93 octane here right now. The 94 octane is 2.50. I think 87 octane is 2.30 or so, but I don't pay attention really 'cause I don't use the stuff.

SSsuperchargedEi 03-30-2005 12:43 PM

2.39 here for 94

Mr Bean 03-30-2005 02:50 PM

paid $2.23/gal today...cheapest around where i'm at. by the way, when my car starts to cut out around turns or going uphill, i can usually stuff around 19.7 gallons into my 18 gal. tank 8)

fantastic88 03-30-2005 03:10 PM

I could care less about gas prices. I like speed and luxury. I will pay anything for the combo.

I kinda agree with you there. I don't complain about gas prices, because I feel that if you mod your car to make it faster, you at that point, give up your right to want good gas mileage. More power and good mileage rarely go together. I think it would be nice if gas was cheaper, because then I could buy more mods with the extra money, or spend the money on something else, but I'm not gonna complain about the prices.

I noticed it went down another two cents today, not that two cents matters.

Shawn
