I've been searching for 2 new tires for my 18'* on-line. and pretty much all places are between $145 and $180 plus shipping. Then I went to town fair tire around the corner from my house and asked them. The dude says $199 each. Told him I can get them for prices mentioned and even lied a little :P .
so I say can you do any better as you have signs that say "will beat any prices"
He tells me thats the best price out there and I would have to prove others are better.
Lets just say I didnt look like a happy customer when I left and walked back to my car.
Then the manager came out to me and ask whats up? I told him the story and he ask me to come back in. I tell him the prices of 3 places I had writen down on a piece of paper and he checks out his prices. he ask me what was it that tirerack quoted you again? I told him $270 for both ... He'* crunching numbers like crazy on his calculator and says, Is that shipped? I'm like yup to 02169. he'* punching that calculator again and says thats his price for him that cant be.
Now I'm saying so whats your best you can do for me? tap tap tap tap tap goes the calcy again He says I can let them go for $150 each. I pause............................................. .................................................. ...... give him an (sigh) alright we got a deal.

hell ya, I had them swap the rears for new. (my best were up front) then had them swap rotate all tires around

so what kinda tires are these? those are a bit pricey!
