Default These Tires are too expensive!

Man it sucks how pricey the bonneville tires are. I just found out the other day I have a nail that managed to not only go into the tire, but come back out creating two holes so it can't be fixed. And this is one of the three month old tires the dealer put on when I bought the car.

You should check the price for z-rated 17" tires

It'* normal here to spend $1,200. for a set of performance tires mounted and balanced.

Dang... We've had a TON of tire threads!
What I do is go into Goodyear, ask them what the cheapest tires I can get installed with a warranty for, and haggle with them a bit. I ended up paying 400 dollars for Goodyear tires with a 60k mile warranty and the goodyear "piece of mind", whatever that is.

There are maybe 3 cars on this forum that have a real use for Z rated rubber. Tires don't have to be cheap, but like anything car related...

Treadlife
Performance
Price

Pick any two, Or even one somtimes depending on how hardcore u go. You can get good performance tires below 100/tire, but they're not lasting more then 20-25k miles.

Goodyears seem to be overpriced for what you get out of them, atleast in MN, and what i've experienced myself, and heard from others. Just over $600 for a set of all season Triple Treds at their store is a crock, and they'll feed their stores in the distribution chain before cheap places like Sam'*.

Then again the major brands like G/Y Firestone/Bridgestone and Michelin/BFG all seem to do what they say more then the smaller lesser known brands.
