It'* funny, but at Woodburn for WCBF04, all 4 of my burnouts were two wheels. Without an LSD. In fact, all four cars there had mostly 2 wheel burnouts that day.
The danger for me with the siping on the tires is that the tires will break loose like they did, but they grab sooner and more abruptly than non-siped tires. So when it finally gets traction, it hammers the diff.

Is it possible the dif failed and took out the shaft itself as well as the housing? I don't think I've ever heard of anyone "snapping" an output shaft but it could have been obliterated by a failed dif for sure. It gets pretty violent when a dif fails.

Pardon me.....the shaft between the CV and diff. CV shaft in the housing.
Diff is fine, at least on one side The car was still driveable, but only the left wheel had power.
