Default test drove an ssei

2000 i believe, didn't have the hex-raised wheel center caps, but it was black interior.. didn't see how many miles it had on it.

any reason it felt slower than my impala?

got on it, heard boooooost but it still felt slow...

unrelated: i asked the guy if i could see what she had in her, and i turned off the traction control, that was pretty fun.. felt like a pretty torquey car

idk.. but.. heads up display, boost, and those chairs definitely make a VERY nice car..

just a little turned off by the slow-factor of it.. maybe it wasn't maintained ?

i recently drove a Monte carlo SS, and it was NOT slow... something was wrong with the ssei if it was slower than your impala

Probably needed a good tune up. Mine was like that when I bought it back in october. Put new plugs, wires and a fuel filter in and it was a whole new animal. Getting the INTENSE PCM and FWI installed this past superbowl sunday helped as well!

That SSEI should run a good 1s faster than your impala if it was maintained properly.

Definitely not maintained. My girlfriends family have an L36 bonne and it is noticeably slower than my L67, even when it was stock.
