Teasers for HAROFREAK (final pics added!)
He'* been bugging me for progress pics on his SC, so I thought I'd start with a recap of what'* already posted, then put up some fresh pics.
Eat it up, Andrew. First pics here show the inlet bore misalignment,
and roughing in the fix (aligned to the outlet of the TB:
Another 'archive' shot showing Andrew'*:
#15, #16, #21 are Haro'*.
Various other pics throughout the process, including a couple that have been posted
before.
Hope this gives Andrew the satisfaction he was looking for!
As you can see clearly, the supercharger porting is done, drum sanding done, final
2-stage wetsanding on the inlet and outlet, new bearings pressed in, and ready for
final polishing!
Right side background:
Shot today, using a penny for reference on the needle bearing depth after pressing
the first new bearing in:
Yours on the right:
Your pulley on the bottom (3.4):
Your nosedrive seal and MPS hub:
One bearing in:
A couple starting cuts on the bolt bosses:
A fantastically detailed macro shot greyhare provided today:
Pressing a bearing in. See how nice the outlet looks?
Andrew, it'* staring at you saying "Daddy!"
A shot inside your nosedrive from some time ago:
Virgin outlet (don't get excited when I say virgin, it means 'untouched' in this case):
Bolt bosses roughed out. I'll save the pieces for you:
As you can all see, Andrew'* patience has really paid off while I worked on this.
It'll be shipping out to the next stop on it'* journey early next week.
Satisfied NOW, Andrew?

Thats pretty good work, but why did you notch out where the bolt comes through?? I understand that it will probably increase flow, but weren't they there like that for a reason??
