Default TB Gaskets.. Ever see an S1 like this?

When I pulled off the throttle body from my spare supercharger, I noticed that the gasket was NOTHING like any other I'd ever used. Where all the others were thin paper with ruber, this thing is HARD plastic with reinforced metal screw holes and inlaid rubber seals. Its so solid looking it almost looks reusable. Has anyone come accross one like this before?

That is from a 92/93. Tell me the differences between your SC and the spare.

That came off your spare? That TB gasket was only used from 92 to 93 on the L67. Which means you seem to have purchased the wrong supercharger. What'* the measurement of the hole in the gasket? 2.35" or 60mm?

Time to go shopping, methinks. I suggest not pulling that apart any further if you intend to try to sell it.

Didn't even think about it before, but the SC you are cleaning in your other thread is a 92/93. I can tell by the ribs on the case. They go down to the base, where as a 94/95, the ribs fade away further up.

Son of a #%%#@.. Its the gen 2.

I guess this is going into the for sale. At least I found out before I pulled the old one. And I just bought the damn cutting, sanding and polishing bits for my dremel too.

I guess I'll be posting it in the for sale section in a day or so.

Oh yeah, this is a 92 supercharger. Has the adjustable TPS on the TB. Least SOMETHING useful came out of this.
