Take Door Panel Off.................
Does anyone know how to take the door panel off a 2001 Pontiac Bonneville ? I have to inspect a rattling sound in my back driverside door and I have to take the panel off. Does anyone have a link, pics, or instructions on how to do this ? Any help is appreciated
i dunno dude, sorry. i had no clue how to take the panel off of my 92, but i just went out there and took out all screws, bolts behind the arm rest, unplugged the electronics, and was really careful not to break any of the trim on light covers.
you shouldnt need instructions on this, just go on out and take a look. its fairly simple.

I'd feel really uncomfortable pulling apart my doors. unless you are a real handy, then go for it. However, have you got a manual. I ripped up my dashboard etc this past weekend and it came in real handy.
At least it tells you what to take apart and in what steps

I wrote up the instructions for the 92-99 that are listed on www.Bonnevilleattitude.com . It is actually really easy to pull apart the doors. Like LowLyfe83 said, just find the most obvious screws (generally by the armrest and corners) and then pull gently on it. You can then tell if you missed any screws. Most are really easy to get to. All the electrical connections are usually simple connectors that can be pulled apart and plugged back in later. A shop manual will help a bit but a little basic mechanical knowledge and the will to remove the panel should surefice. Besides, all the big things like glass, levers, etc... are all inside the door frameing and not in any way connected to the paneling that would be removed. Makes it easier.
Got any things for a 2001 Bonneville ? I consider myself handy but just wanted to check before I got taking the door panel apart. I'm sure I can do it myself but just taking steps before I do.
