I was just wondering if you had the 2.84 gears or the 3.06...lol... My 91 has the 2.84 gears, its a little on the slouch side, but I love the fact that the engine makes its torque so low down... The 95 has to spin it up a little<---- But its still faster..lol
When you get to college bring that car up here for some minor modding...

LOL...Ok just so everyone understands... You can drive around in 4th gear( OD on the 4T60-E and D on the 4T65-E ).... The electronicly controlled transmissions are a lot better than the Hydraulic units were( FWD That is )...
At times I will reccomend that you use 3rd gear as opposed to OD... Especially if you are in traffic speeding up and slowing down necessitating constant shifts... If that is the case than you be better off in 3rd gear as opposed to 4th gear... Other than that chances are its not a big deal...
Both of my cars are still on the original tranny and parts, with the exception of the fluid,filter and pan gasket... 138,000 on one and 118,000+ on the other.. No problems yet, and I am abusive...lol

On the 4T60-E its 1 2 D (OD)<--- This is 4th gear
These are the same thing, GM just relabeled...
Does this make sense?

?Out of the thousands of Bonnevilles i've seen, ONE has had an old woman driving it. It was a bare bones SE too. I have NEVER seen an old woman drive a SSEi. If the network of buttons wouldn't scare them away the power sure would.
All of the few LSS'* i've seen have had middle aged men with suits driving them.
