Ok so I got to test drive it pretty good today and found that it still shifts at 5200 in first and second gear which I was under the assumtion that it was supposed to shift at the 6000 rpm redline, which ticked me off a little but no biggy. The car holds gears longer under moderate acceleration and downshifts WAY easy, no more floor it and wait, its like RIGHT there bam down shift, and its kinda cool cause I can now sit in park and actually rev my engine without embarrasing myself my hitting my rev limeter! But other than that it definitalely has a butt dyno increase, very noticble off the line which is where my car was lacking because of all the decreased backpressure in the exhaust. It feels stronger than the Comp G I raced at G.I.R. and will probably put it in the 14s even if my shift points are the same. Before I go back to the strip I plan on doing the fan iverride mod and cutting out some metal behind the headlight for better intake pressure. Im also gonna finish my intake heatshielding so that its more sealed from heat, and I will use some heat tape on the heatshield and the intake tube part that is still exposed to the underhood heat. With all this I may be wishfull thinking but id really like to be in the 92-95 SSEi 14 second club.......you with me Will Wren???

(sorry for the slight off subject )

If anyone is still following this thread, I contacted the chip burner (ecmprogrammer.com Westers Garage) about the 5200 rpm WOT shift points, and he offered to remap my stock ECU to the same specs as the one he sent me but at 6000 rpm shift points.

Actually in his other thread he said hes back in the 14s, something about his chip putting him in higher RPMs then needed and it putting him in KR so thats what had him in the 15s.
