Actually, the GXP is a limited edition car. The SSEi will still be the top end, but you can opt for the performance option, which will be the GXP. All Pontiac model will come in a GXP version. Expect to pay a premium for it... rumors in the pre-sales department are that the Bonneville GXP wil retail for a little over $39,000. With at least M3 performance abilities, I'm saving my money NOW!!!

I read an article saying the GXP Bonne was REPLACING the SSEi. I have heard nothing of it just being a limited edition.. It said the SSEi was no more in 04. Maybe it was wrong..u guys prob. know more than i do.

According to the May 03 GMHTP the GXP will replace the SSEi. But that does not mean that the 3.8S/C wont be available in the SLE, which would make sense. There would be too much of a power gap from the 200 to the 280hp.
