How do you know??? And also I thought if it wasn't too difficult do it myself but if it is then i would have it done because I don't use the sunglasses holder thing or the aux port.

Looking at one that does have the moon roof and the way the metal folds in around it and the frame support/track,.... it'* a pretty sure guess. Likely when the unibody is put together (it has a roof section), it is done with or without the moonroof. These cars are mass produced on an assembly line. The dont take the time to cut holes and weld things for options. They are done in ways that incorporate that into the scheme of production.

Buy an aftermarket kit, put in in yourself or have it installed. Really aren't that expensive. I loved the one in my LaCrosse. You could tilt it up for air, or just take it out and put it in the trunk. Most are made that way now.
Given the way the OEM is punched and formed down the sides, you would have to cut like an inch or two beyond the moonroof all the way around and do the same on yours, then weld the whole thing in place. Taking the formed headliner from the donor car as well. It is not as simple as cut a hole and just put it in.

Don't remember the brand name of mine. It was one offered at the shop I went too.Google is your best online friend, and your Yellow Pages should have some installers listed to compare prices. Maybe another member will chime in with one they had luck with. The kits looked pretty easy and the shop let me hang out while they did it. They had a blade that cut the roof and headliner all at the same time. The top frame and window went in from the top, the bottom frame had a large lip to cover around the cutout liner. A matter of screwing in like 12-14 screws and I was on my way. The bottom frame also a vertical lip that fit just inside one coming down from the upper one and the two fit inside each other for a nice sealed "sidewall" between the headliner and the roof.

It is hard to find do-it-yourself kits. Here'* another place with more options, pretty good prices.
