I just came home from school and parked my car outside..next thing I kno i hear the street sweeper and rush outside lyk "oh shyt! I 4got!!!" but just like i thought it wud be it was too late..the stupid ticket giver had already placed one on my windshield does anyone have a good alibi i could use to contest the ticket? 50 bucks iz WAY too much 4 a stupid parking ticket!

$15 is would have been more reasonable, but do you really think you have a chance of fighting it? no.

I mean i did move it in time for the sweeper to get that spot on the 2nd sweep...any ideas? maybe in the letter i wud write to them i could also mention some kind of emergency?.....

to be honest, I have never heard of street sweeping tickets around here. the silly machine just drives around cars on the street. maybe we have more wind here?

Good luck fighting it. My dad got one in Cleveland 3 years back. He tried to argue with the court but they told him that there were signs all along the street that notified about the sweeping, and if he didn't see them it wasn't their problem. He coughed up the $40 for it.

so even mentioning some kind of emergency probably wont do any good huh :?
