I up on the mandreal bends. The cold air intake and inter-cooler pipes on my quest are made that way for the same reasons. No turbulance in the flow for quick spooling. I just got the SSEi today and am trying to come up with a plan on getting it up to par. The exhaust will need to be addressed but I'm not sure how soon. I have a possible oil pump, cam bearing or, lifter problem to figure out first but for $500 I can't complain.

Justin, good to see another neighbor here. Keep the Cat with an SSEi. Trust me. Come by and take a peek at my car sometime. It'll show you what can be done without messing with internals.
