Steering Feel
I've asked this before but with a lot of other questions so i thought I might devote a whole topic to the issue. I've heard many times that the '92- '94 Bonneville SSE had very stiff steering and I was wondering
1.)how stiff the steering is compared with cars like the) '95 Cutlass Supreme, '00 Taurus, common cars, etc),
2.)how quickly it responds and how much road feel you get, and
3.) does it ever get uncomfortable, or tiring? If it is overly stiff is there a way to give the steering more boost?
4. Also, totally unrelated, is there a lot of road noise in those Style Bonnies?

if you have the Magnasteer option, the steering is relatively easy at low speeds (parkng lots, etc) and it stiffens up the faster you go, its a nice feeling...i havent driven too many FWD vehicles, but the only time ive noticed gobs of understeer is with alot of weight in the trunk...
all these cars handle very well for as large as they are, the cars equipped with the FE3(its an rpo code) suspension rivaled F-bodies iin handling...and road noise is highly dependant on tire selection...these cars are very quiet though....even at triple digit speed the noise isnt very bad...

It has a lot of feedback, and yeah it'* harder to turn then others, but it'* still got powersteering.
Frankly the FE1 is a hair slow for me under 30mph, but after that it'* good, and above 80 it'* damn near oversteer.
There is no FE3, it'* F41, the only difference between F41 and Fe2 are spring rates.

I have the F41 suspension and steering while I enjoy the quick steering responds and road feel. The wheel seems to me to be somewhat heavy
after about a few hours of driving, so I try to find a straight path to my
destination.

I had problems with the power steering system in mine. It would grumble and be very stiff. The power steering pulley turned nicely by hand. Might of been the pump, might of been a pressure valve in the rack itself.
